The man accused of killing a well-known Long Island equestrian was arraigned today.

Brett Knight was arraigned on a grand jury indictment for allegedly killing Ross Reisner. Prosecutors say Knight fired 11 shots through the window of Reisner's East Setauket home last month, killing Reisner and injuring his partner Kevin Murray. Knight was a former tenant who lived in their home.

According to published reports, Murray had filed a complaint shortly before the shooting, claiming Knight had been harassing them.

Police say Knight fled to Tennessee after the shooting, which is where he was found and arrested.
