Sunny and cold with light winds in Brooklyn; rainy weekend ahead

It's partly cloudy and very cold this morning with temperatures in the mid to upper 20s.
Today will be cold again with increasing sunshine and light winds. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s. Temperatures will be milder into the weekend.
Highs will be in the 40s and 50s with on and off rain throughout the weekend.
A series of fronts will bring rounds of rain through next week. The first round of rain arrives Saturday morning and last on and off throughout the day. The second round of rain will be Sunday afternoon into Monday afternoon. It stays cloudy and unsettled into New Year's Day. We're still fine tuning the exact timing and impacts.
