A man accused in a 2012 homicide of a Wyandanch dad has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder.
Suffolk police and U.S. Marshals tracked down and arrested Boyd Holland, 22, in Orlando, Florida. The Copiague man was brought back to Long Island Tuesday.
Holland is accused of gunning down Eric Brooks, 35, in front of his home in May 2012. Brooks had been in prison for 10 years before he was shot. He was home for three months before his murder.
Brooks' family told News 12 that they still don't understand why Eric was targeted. They said they suspected Holland was the shooter since the incident occurred.
Holland is being held without bail.
