Police say a 10-year-old boy has been rushed to the hospital after getting his leg stuck in a boat propeller.
The incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. in Reynolds Channel near the Cedarhurst Yacht Club. Authorities say the boy was swimming at the time.
He was rushed to St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway and has since been transferred to Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park.
The boy is currently listed in serious condition.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
