Preparations are underway for the second annual Hats Off To Roses event at Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford.
The event will be held in the park's Rose Garden this Sunday, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and the theme is Kentucky Derby.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their finest attire and Kentucky Derby-inspired hats.
Guests will be able to enjoy music and food as well as spend time in the fully blossomed garden.
"The garden right now is absolutely gorgeous. It is in full bloom. You will see so many varieties of roses. You will be amazed," said Dorine Jaekle,
Friends of Boothe coordinator.
The event will also have a live string quartet.
The proceeds will go towards the park's school program that benefits Stratford students.
