The Gold Coast Book Fair hosts several prominent authors and will have book-based discussions tackling art, history, politics, and more.
This is the second year of the event. It was founded by former Rep. Steve Israel in 2024. Last year, it drew more than 3,000 readers from across the region to listen to 75 authors across a wide variety of topics.
The event will run from May 16-18. The book fair will be held Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the LIU Post campus in Oyster Bay. On Sunday, the event will be held in downtown Oyster Bay from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fair is open to the public and free to attend. Select events require paid tickets.
The fair takes place rain or shine.
