Bohemia man sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of cocaine and illegal handgun

The 45-year-old had three prior drug and weapon convictions going back to 1998.

A Bohemia man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing over two pounds of cocaine and a loaded handgun.
Christopher Reece, 45, was sentenced Monday after admitting to the charges in August.
He was arrested in October 2021 when police found cocaine, a loaded pistol and two additional magazines in his Middleton Road home.
Reece had three prior drug and weapon convictions going back to 1998.
He was also sentenced to five years of post-release supervision.
