The discovery of a body in the Nissequogue River Tuesday afternoon is leading investigators to believe they may have found the second victim of a month-old car drowning.
Four canoeists found the remains near a dock in Kings Park. Herman Stephan, one of the men who made the discovery, says he thought it might be that of the man whose body was not found when the car plunged into the river in March.
The body of 25-year-old Ryan Colvin, of Centereach, was pulled from the vehicle after the car was found. His friend, 24-year-old Robert Ungerer, was not found at the time.
The medical examiner is trying to identify the body.
