Police from Nassau's Marine Bureau, were out in full force Saturday to ensure safety.
With so many boats out for the holiday weekend, the marine unit checked to make sure they all had the proper safety equipment and registration.

They also say they have a zero tolerance policy for drinking and boating and they warn people not to speed.
