A Farmingdale factory went up in flames on Friday.The blaze began around 2 a.m. at a plastics factory on Eastern Parkway. The building is close to tracks for the Long Island Rail Road, forcing one train from Penn Station to Ronkonkoma to be canceled. There were also delays of up to 45 minutes for LIRR passengers.The strength of the fire required 14 different fire departments to arrive on the scene.
