Black ice might be to blame for an early morning crash that involved a Suffolk police cruiser. A police car was hit by an SUV at around 8:15 a.m. Saturday morning just east of Carlls Straight Path.

A police car was hit by an SUV at around 8:15 a.m. Saturday morning just east of Carlls Straight Path.
The officer was not in the vehicle at the time.
The SUV driver was not injured in the crash.
