Long Island native Billy Joel made history last night by setting a new record at Madison Square Garden.
Joel played his 65th show, which is a new record for most performances by a single artists at the venue.
The record puts him ahead of his buddy Elton John, who played 64 MSG shows.
At one point, Stony Brook native Kevin James joined Joel on stage last night, saying he was honored to be part of the historic evening.
Since last year Billy has been performing once a month at MSG, saying he will do it until fans don't come.
