A Bethpage man is running across Long Island for a good cause.
Wai Law is raising money for Parkinson's research for the third straight year. This year he is also running to raise awareness about mental health issues in children.
In 2021, he ran from Buffalo to Manhattan. He is staying on Long Island this year.
He started his run at Stony Brook University at 6:30 a.m. Friday and expects to finish the first portion 50 miles away at Orient Point.
He will run from Orient Point to Montauk Saturday and then finish up the run in Westhampton Beach Sunday.
