Long Islanders came together Sunday for a benefit concert to support the rights of immigrants.
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington hosted a concert to bring attention to the plight of immigrants on Long Island and also on the southern border.
Organizers held the benefit concert to support two nonprofit groups -  the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services and Long Island Jobs With Justice.
There were local performing artists, a children's choir and storytelling. There was also a drum circle and a silent auction.
Organizers also collected non-perishable food items, children's toys and clothes for people in the community.
