Bellmore man to bike across US against cancer
For the next three months, a Bellmore man will be bicycling across the country in an effort to raise money to fight blood cancer. AJ Borowski, 25, will be leaving for his 5,000-mile trip on Aug. 30.

For the next three months, a Bellmore man will be bicycling across the country in an effort to raise money to fight blood cancer.
AJ Borowski, 25, will be leaving for his 5,000-mile trip on Aug. 30. He plans on biking from Virginia to California along the Trans-American Bicycle Trail.
In July 2014, his mother Maria died while battling Lymphoma. She left behind her husband and AJ's three older sisters.
"I'm looking for a big adventure in my life," Borowski told News 12. "I'll be thinking of my mom, sisters and friends."
As of Thursday, Borowski has raised more than $7,600 toward his goal.
