A village in Nassau County is helping those in their community who are struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Bayville Beautification Committee has been selling "Bayville Strong" signs to place around the village. The group has sold over 300 signs and raised $6,000, which will go to grocery store gift cards to those in need.
"There's people that are hurting out there with this virus. Everybody is feeling it," says Chris Pflaumer, of the Bayville Beautification Committee.
The group says they are looking at more ways to help raise money for those in need.
