A Bay Shore man was found guilty of stabbing his girlfriend in the neck with scissors.

The attack happened last year in front of the couple's three young children.

Jorge Guevara refused to allow the victim or the children to call 911.

The woman needed surgery to close the wound.

Guevara is due back in court on Aug. 22. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
