A Bay Shore man was convicted of sexually abusing his stepdaughter.

The child was 10-years-old when the abuse started.

Prosecutors say she texted 911 for help. The victim testified against her abuser at trial.

Her stepfather is now facing up to 50 years in prison when he is sentenced.
