A car crashed into a tree in Bay Shore leaving a husband and wife dead. Police say 75-year-old Travis Hairston was driving her 81-year-old husband, Frank, when she somehow lost control of the car.

A car crashed into a tree in Bay Shore leaving a husband and wife dead.
Police say 75-year-old Travis Hairston was driving her 81-year-old husband, Frank, when she somehow lost control of the car.
It crashed through a fence and hit a tree on someone's front lawn.
The crash happened Tuesday at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Hansen Street.
The couple was taken to the hospital, but did not survive.
