Police say a Baldwin man is under arrest for allegedly pointing a weapon at a mail carrier.

Detectives say the worker was delivering mail to a home on Eva Court on Thursday.

That is when police say a man started yelling at the worker from the second floor window of the house on Everett Court, pointing what the victim feared was a gun.

That mail carrier left and called 911.

Officers arrived to the scene and arrested Dwayne White.

The 42-year-old is charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
