It's considered Hollywood East and is home to many major film productions, including the just wrapped "Amazing Spider-Man 2," and News 12's Elisa DiStefano got a backstage tour of it in Bethpage.

The Grumman Studios is packed with production and super-sized soundstages. According to Francine Bachmann, of Grumman Studios, stage 6 is the largest cyclorama, or chroma key, in New York State.

"The whole thing would be painted green or whatever they wanted," says Bachmann. "And then [we] change it back to white and then we start again."

Bachmann says on stage 7 there is a soundproof room. She says the owner built it specifically for the soundproofing.

Ingrid Dodd, of the Nassau County Film Office, says it's stage 7 and the tax incentives that are why many productions come to the facility.

"We are Hollywood East - the tax incentives we have now from the governor, and the county executive is vested in the area," Dodd says. "The big, big productions are coming and, you know, if you build it, they will come."

The studios will mark a television milestone with "The Sound of Music" three-hour musical special that will air live on NBC on Dec. 5. "Annie" is also currently filming. That is due out next December and stars Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx.
