Hundreds gathered for a Back the Blue Rally in Wantagh Saturday.

Organizers said they came together because police officers need their support now more than ever.

In the last month, two members of the NYPD were killed in separate car crashes.

That includes Officer Anastasios Tsakos, who was hit and killed on the Long Island Expressway by a suspected drunk driver.
