Babylon Village celebrates Irish culture with its first St. Patrick’s Day parade

Babylon Village kicked off a celebration of Irish culture with their first ever St. Patrick’s Day parade.  
Crowds clad in green clothing lined Deer Park Avenue to see the passing floats, bands and dancers.  
The Babylon Fire Department showed off their equipment with blaring lights on and sirens. Elected leaders, high school students, Girl Scouts and youth clubs appeared in the parade.  
Judy Skillen of the Babylon Village Historical Society was Grand Marshal for the event.
