A cardiologist from Babylon who confessed to having child pornography was expected to be sentenced on Wednesday. The sentencing did not happen.

Frank Pollaro pleaded guilty to the charges last month.

Pollaro, 55, is a registered sex offender and was convicted of similar charges in 2016.

He is facing up to eight years in prison and must surrender his doctor's license.
