Baby deer rescued from fence at East Setauket home

The rescue took around three minutes and the deer was not injured.

Strong Island Animal Rescue League helped rescue a baby deer Monday in East Setauket.
The deer got itself stuck in a fence at a house on Flax Pond Road at around 7:30 p.m.
The rescue took around three minutes and the deer was not injured.
News 12 is told the mother deer was nearby on the side of a driveway and was then reunited with her baby. They then ran off into the woods together.
