A North Bellmore couple's baby girl was born on the side of the Southern State Parkway this morning in North Merrick.

Jessica Brooks and Judd Jaworowski, expecting their first child together, were on the way to North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital, but the baby just couldn't wait. Brooks says she knew the baby was coming, so she told Jaworowski to pull over and come get the baby. He pulled off near the Exit 22 ramp to the Meadowbrook Parkway.

Police and paramedics showed up minutes after the baby was born.

Everyone, including baby Sage, is now doing fine.
