It can be a nuisance to clean off a car completely following a snowstorm, but authorities say it can be especially dangerous to leave snow on the roof and back window of vehicles.
News 12 went on a ride along with state police to ensure drivers’ cars were safely cleared of snow.
Trooper Charles Weilminster pulled over two vehicles.
The first had snow covering the roof and the second had a blanket of white across the rear window.
Trooper Weilminster explained the importance of having snow-free cars.
Drivers can get a ticket if their view is obstructed by snow.
The driver with the covered window didn't get a ticket.
Instead, she got help from the Trooper Weilminster, who cleaned her window for her.
