A fire broke out at a Garden City home Thursday morning.
It happened in the attic of a home on Meadow Street just before 10 a.m.
Officials say everyone was able to get out of the home safely, including a woman, a 4-year-old and two other people.
Smoke alarms activated and allowed the four people to get out of the house safely and quickly, officials say.
The flames took about an hour to put out.
