A raven that was stuck on a Shirley power line has been euthanized, according to a Hampton Bays animal rescue.
The bird was rescued Wednesday after spending 30 hours danging from a power line on Carlton Drive East.
Neighbors called for help and PSEG crews went up 75 feet to untangle the raven.
The Evelyn Alexander Rescue Center says the bird suffered a fracture and had severe burns to its legs.
