Anheuser-Busch to buy Blue Point Brewing

Long Island's largest beer maker is scheduled to be bought by one of the largest beer companies in the world. Patchogue-based Blue Point Brewery is being purchased by Anheuser-Busch, maker of Budweiser.

Long Island's largest beer maker is scheduled to be bought by one of the largest beer companies in the world.
Patchogue-based Blue Point Brewery is being purchased by Anheuser-Busch, maker of Budweiser.
Blue Point produces more than 40 craft beers, including Toasted Lager.
The company was founded in 1998 by Mark Burford and Pete Cotter.
