Executives from Altice announced Tuesday that the deal to buy Cablevision for $17.7 billion has been completed.
Altice's acquisitions of Cablevision and Missouri-based Suddenlink form "Altice USA," which is the fourth-largest cable company in the country.
Altice USA is the parent company of News 12 Long Island.
