An alleged MS-13 gang member was arraigned in court Wednesday in connection to two Long Island shootings.
Police say they linked the gun used during a fatal shooting on Maple Avenue in Downtown Riverhead on Oct. 10 to one used in a Southold shooting four days later. They were then able to arrest Albino Dejesus-Medina, 20, of Bay Shore, for his alleged role in the shootings.
Dejesus-Medina is one of five alleged MS-13 gang members arrested for attacking two rival gang members in Southold last month with guns and a machete.
The two victims survived the attack.
