An alleged MS-13 gang member pleaded guilty Monday to killing two men - one of them in Lawrence.
The Nassau district attorney says the plea from Carlos Guerra came during jury selection for his trial.
The 22-year-old was accused of working with two other gang members back in 2018 to shoot and stab a 17-year-old at the Five Towns Community Center.
The other victim was killed in Queens.
The district attorney says it happened in order for the suspect to move up the ranks in the gang.
Guerra will be sentenced in March and is expected to get 28 years in prison.
