All New Yorkers required to cover mouth, nose in public starting tomorrow
Starting tomorrow, everyone in the state will be required to cover their mouth and nose in public when social distancing is not possible.
New Yorkers will need to wear a mask, bandanna or scarf if you can’t maintain six feet between people while you out.
The enforcement of the mandate will not involve fines initially.
However, officials say it could be imposed later if compliance becomes a problem.
