ALERT CENTER: Suffolk to increase patrols on roadways to improve safety for summer

Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison is announcing increased patrols along highways and roadways in an effort to improve traffic safety in Suffolk County.  
The announcement comes during what is referred to as the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer.  
The average number of deadly teen driver crashes climbs 15% nationwide between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
