Officials say two separate crashes in Suffolk happened just minutes apart and both involved stolen cars.
Police tell News 12 a GMC SUV was parked outside of a Dunkin' on Deer Park Ave in Deer Park when it was stolen.
The SUV was then found after it crashed into a utility pole and overturned in Commack just before 10 p.m. Thursday.
The incident happened in front of a medical building on West Jericho Turnpike in Commack.
Two people in that SUV were arrested, a 20-year-old and a 16-year-old. The 16-year-old was taken to Stony Brook Hospital where he is being treated for minor injuries.
News 12 has been told a second vehicle, a Honda SUV, was stolen out of somewhere in West Babylon.
Then, minutes after that first crash, the SUV crashed into the Walgreens on Jericho Turnpike in East Northport.
All of the people who were in that SUV jumped out and took off running.
So far none of them have been arrested.
Police tell News 12 they don't know yet if these two incidents are connected.
