An accused MS-13 gang member will spend the next 32 years to life in prison for his part in the killings of four teenagers.
Anderson Sanchez confessed in 2021 to helping murder the victims in a wooded area of Central Islip near Clayton Street in 2017.
Prosecutors say Sanchez made sure the victims could not escape while other gang members killed them with machetes and knives.
A dozen other associates are facing charges in the case.
