A suspected bank robber was cornered and captured at Walt Whitman Shops.
Police spotted Max Schneider, of Miller Place, in the parking lot of the mall at around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
According to police, Schneider tried to escape and even hit two police cars before he was arrested.
Schneider had been wanted since Tuesday, when he allegedly robbed a Capital One Bank on Route 25A in Rocky Point.
