The projects are part of a $1 million grant from the New York Council on the Arts to invest in more public arts projects statewide this year.

Last week, developers held a groundbreaking ceremony for the next phase of Station Yards.
Three new buildings are going up that will include 285 new apartments, alongside 30,000 square feet of medical space for Northwell Health.
The first new building on Union Avenue is expected to be done by next summer, followed by the remaining two buildings in 2028.
All of these efforts are part of an overall $1.3 billion effort to create Long Island's largest transit-oriented development.
