Suffolk police are asking for the public’s help to find the person or people who stole a trailer in Suffolk County last month.

Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers want to identify whoever took the 2007 2-G Trailer from a Port Jefferson Station church sometime in September.

The vehicle was located at St. Gerard Majella Roman Catholic Church on Terryville Road.

Police tell News 12 the property, which has the numbers 454 on it, belongs to a local Boy Scout troop.

The trailer’s New York State license plate reads CE-67091.

Anyone who believes they know who is responsible for this larceny is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

A cash reward is available for information that leads to an arrest, and all calls remain anonymous.
