Nearly eight out of every 10 drivers in the United States admit expressing anger or road rage at least once a year, according to a survey conducted by AAA.
The study revealed that the most aggressive drivers are men between the ages of 19 and 39.
Alec Sladky, of AAA, says drivers in the Northeast are 30 percent more likely to make an angry gesture at someone.
AAA recommends never leaving your car to confront someone, saying it could only make the situation worse.
"Driving is not a competitive sport, you only win when you get home safely," says Sladky.
Almost 36,000 people are killed on our roads each year. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says about two-thirds of crash deaths involve aggressive driving.
