seven people who they say tried to steal a man's car in Valley Stream.
According to detectives, a
32-year-old was sitting inside his parked car Sunday afternoon on Central Court
with his driver's door open.
News 12 has been told five
men approached him and said they were going to steal his car.
One suspect grabbed the
victim, while the others started rummaging through the vehicle.
After a fight, police say two
other men jumped in another car and the seven took off in a dark colored Toyota
Camry.
No injuries were reported.
Anyone with information is
asked to contact police.
