Officials say a 6-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a North Lindenhurst pool yesterday.
According to police, the boy's grandmother found him in the backyard pool at around 5 p.m. at a home on Bedell Street.
She pulled him from the water and called 911. Meanwhile, a neighbor who is a nurse started CPR right away and continued until police arrived.
The boy died at Good Samaritan Hospital this morning.
