A 59-year-old man is in critical condition after getting hit by a car in Island Park.
Police tell News 12 the incident happened Wednesday around 9 p.m.
According to police, the man was trying to cross Austin Boulevard near the intersection of Florida Avenue when he was struck.
The man, whose name is not yet being released by police, was rushed to the hospital.
The driver stayed at the scene.
