A total of 50 puppies will soon be looking for a home on Long Island.
They arrived at the North Shore Animal League America’s rescue Friday morning in Port Washington.
The puppies were saved from puppy mills across the Midwest.
Vets will be giving them medical exams and care until they are ready to join new families.
The shelter says adoption information will be announced in the coming weeks.
