Police made a fourth arrest last night in a suspected gang-related double shooting in Southold.
Freddie Fernando Torres Campos, 16, is the latest suspect accused in an ambush-style attack and shooting of reputed rival gang members. Previously arrested were 31-year-old Pedro Santamaria, 19-year old Jeremias Recinos Torres and 17-year old Walter Vasquez. Vasquez is a Greenport High School student.
The four suspected MS-13 members are accused of lying in wait and then attacking reputed 18th Street gang members with a machete before firing at least five shots.
All four suspects were in court today, and each was held on $250,000 cash bail.
