A 38-foot tugboat sank about 3 miles off of Atlantic Beach at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Four people were rescued in the water by the Coast Guard. Officials say all of the crew's members were accounted for and taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital.

Another tugboat sank into the Atlantic on Monday night after officials say it was hit by a 10-foot swell. The barge it was carrying drifted away and ended up onshore.

Bjoern Kils, of New York Media Boat, was already in the vicinity of the sinking when he heard the mayday call over his radio. His company was hired to locate the tugboat that sank on Monday and to find a deep enough path to move the washed up barge.

Kils says he was able to help the crew from the sinking ship before the Coast Guard arrived on the scene.

There was no word on the condition of the crew members.
