Two Marine Bureau officers rescued four men from the Long Island Sound during Friday night's severe thunderstorms.
The men headed out from Northport around 8 p.m. but their boat's engine died shortly after.
The officers fought through zero-visibility conditions to reach the men and help them back to shore.
Authorities say everyone is expected to be OK.
