3 LI Regeneron finalists fail to reach top 10 but bring home $25,000

Emily Kim, Kevin Zho and Miah Margiano were among the 40 finalists selected from a group of 300 children.

Three students represented Long Island Tuesday at the "Regeneron Science Talent Search" finals.
Two teenagers from Jericho High School and one from St. Anthony's High School were among 40 finalists that were competing in Washington D.C.
While none of the Long Islanders made the top 10, they are bringing back $25,000 each.
They also had the experience of presenting their research for a week in the nation's capital.
Emily Kim, Kevin Zho and Miah Margiano were originally selected from a group of 300 children.
