The Islanders home game against Detroit planned for Wednesday night has been postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak.
Another player was added to the league's health and safety protocols. This is the second Islanders game to be postponed this week.
"Ideally, I'd like every team to have a full complement of players…but that’s not reality, that's fantasy hockey right now,” says coach Barry Trotz.
The Islanders have now had a total of five games postponed this season due to COVID-19.
